Mammogram Special at the Breast Center

In honor of Valentine’s Day, The Breast Center at St. Petersburg General Hospital is offering a special low price for mammograms. Get your yearly mammogram including screening and reading by one of our radiologists for only $65 from now until February 18th.

It’s never been easier or cheaper to get your mammogram! Because we know you work and have a hectic schedule, our center is open on the evenings and weekends to make it easier for you to come in when it’s convenient for you.

A mammogram is an x-ray or digital image of the breast used in screening for breast cancer. Routine mammograms have been shown to save lives. Catching cancer early in its development improves prognosis. The National Cancer Institute recommends women 40 and older with no significant risk factors should have yearly mammograms. Women who are at a higher risk, if they have family members with the disease for instance, should talk to their doctor about having mammograms starting before 40.

The Breast Center provides digital mammography in a comforting spa-like environment. Our caring team of mammogram technologists helps to make you feel secure. The procedure takes just a few minutes and then you’re on your way!

Our $65 promotion is for cash, check or credit card payments, and not insurance reimbursements.

One Response to Mammogram Special at the Breast Center

  1. Another reason women put off getting a mammogram is the pain factor. Many find mammograms painful, or at least uncomfortable. This may be true, but as one who has been through treatment I can assure you that the pain of the test is far better than the discomfort, pain, and sickness that accompany treatment just saying.
